Through our Pop up For Good program we supported New York Cares to implement two experiential pop-up locations for the 30th Annual Coat Drive. New Yorkers had the chance to drop off new or gently used coats in person and take a closer look at how their donation helped those in need this winter. The pop ups drove higher participation, exposure and donation levels. The pop ups in one week of operation, brought in more coats then Penn Station’s donation station in over 6 weeks. All coats donated to this year’s pop-up shops—over 1,200 in total—went to individuals at the Bowery Mission. We were grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of the support New York Cares offers, the significant impact their programs make and the hope they drive for so many in the community.
As a company, we believe in contributing to the community and to the overall social good. It’s an important part of who we are as people and how we do business. In November 2018, we launched CS4Good, our philanthropic platform, and announced our first two major initiatives—Pop-Ups for Good and a collaboration with Love Your Melon.

Our plan is to develop innovative platforms to drive impact throughout the nation to benefit socially charged causes that involve the local communities we serve. We’re currently looking for and vetting interested non-profits, brands, partners and collaborators in order to expand the program’s reach.

Pop Ups for Good
Pop-Ups for Good creates immersive short-term retail pop-ups to benefit charities in local communities across the country. The program builds on our leadership in experiential pop-ups, shop-in-shops and marketing activations and leverages our retail expertise, strategic partnerships and national reach.
Partnership with Love Your Melon
The Holidays are right around the corner and it’s our favorite time of year to give. At CS Hudson, we look for the perfect gifts for our clients, friends and family because nothing warms a heart like the spirit of giving. This year, we are starting a new tradition. Instead of providing gifts that will end up in someone’s storage closet, we want our gifts to have a deeper meaning and purpose. Our goal: To truly give back to those in need—and perhaps inspire others to give back.
We are excited to work with Love Your Melon on our Co-Branded Hats. Love Your Melon helps fight pediatric cancer by donating 50% of its proceeds to charities that fund pediatric cancer research and support families in need. Their plan is to donate a hat to every little warrior through this joint initiative—to learn more, or join their cause, visit their mission page.
